Wow, I love this! I am just now exploring these types of practices, and I’ve never heard the term “plant sit,” but I love it. I will definitely be partaking. Do you recommend doing it only with plants/flowers outdoors? How about a bouquet of flowers? I only ask because I have a rose upstairs!!

Indoor plants are perfect! They also have a consciousness! I always like to ask permission to speak to the plant. Keep your mind open and be open to how the plant can communicate - thoughts, mental images, feelings, etc. Definitely talk to your rose!! Id love to hear what she has to say if you’re open to sharing!

I will do it either tonight or tomorrow and I will keep you updated! This came to me at the perfect time because I felt like I bought that rose for a reason yesterday (not just because it was on sale post Valentine’s Day😉). I’ve been studying the symbol of the rose in regards to the divine feminine for the last few weeks. I am so excited to do this.

I had not considered there may be a mismatch. I’m excited to try, I’ll let you know how it goes.

The plant will tell you! Go outside (or inside! house plants count too!) and see which one catches your eye. In your mind you can ask if you can speak it with - you'll get a feeling. It's a practice that requires a very open mind. My hickory tree in my backyard loves to chat, but the Japanese knotweed and I aren't really friends. Go see who speaks to you. I'd love to hear about your experience afterwards.
