You mention menstrual regulation hormones, and the role of cohosh etc. I'm wondering if there's anything you can tell us about androgens and support for that set of hormones? Thanks! And thank you too, for careful research and great debunking.

I just wanted to say that I love your deep dives into these topics. Your approach deeply resonates with me. As someone with an actual hormonal issue (type one diabetes, aka insulin dependant to survive) it drives me crazy when people lack a basic understanding of hormones.

Such great information. Hormones are complex and ever changing daily. I am a huge advocate for natural ways to support hormones.

Thank you for this wonderful essay. Very helpful. It feels like everyone is under "constant attack" to keep especially women in fear of their hormones. Your educational piece clears up a lot! I will buy you a coffee now.. :-)

This is great Agy! I agree that the word balance is all too often misused, including with hormones. In my practice I see many people who present with such complex challenges and often supporting the liver and the nervous system come before (or instead of) any herbs that are actually hormonally active.
