This is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Especially love the part about playing in the dirt as a kid making potions. Pretty sure that’s the real reason I left medicine to start a natural skincare brand. 🤣

Whoa, so so cool. I too made tea and my boys all made potions. May need to upgrade, I am fascinated. I have a problem with too many paid subscriptions and a possible job loss.

Also, where are you located and do you take fresh cheese in exchange? I am drowning in cottage cheese from my dairy pets at the moment, my spring diet with sprouts as we watch the snow melt.

First of all, I was the kid in the other room crafting witches brews of the herbs I found in the neighborhood.

I haven’t seen TCM formula structure before but I’m thrilled you laid it out for me to read. This is a reflection of how I formulate my bends as well. Though instead of using the scientific medicinal properties I talk to the spirit of the plant

I set the intention of bend I’m making. I have one herb that wants to be the powerhouse. Then I ask the herb who it wants to work with to aid the blend in the most effective way.

I haven’t thought about it as the herb-herb interaction in this way but your piece is highlighting how I’ve been doing this without the science.
